WHO WE ARE
The citizens of Lodi have always shown strong support for their community and also their Police Department. But with budgetary constraints, the Lodi Police Department is challenged with maintaining their high level of service with fewer resources and reduced funding. Many private persons and local businesses have expressed a willingness to donate money or other items to the Police Department. The Lodi Police Foundation provides the conduit where donations can be accepted and subsequently utilized by the Police Department in the form of grants. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Federal tax ID: 20-1685628) that was formed to help bridge the gap between budget and reality. Certain types of equipment, education, and community programs are made possible through our fundraising efforts. In addition, the Lodi Police Foundation also provides funding to the Lodi Area Crime Stoppers, an organization that pays awards for crime tips.
